Idiopathic hypersomnia (IH) is a problem that causes daytime sleepiness. It may also lead to long nighttime or daytime sleep, unrefreshing sleep, and difficulty waking up. Staying current with the latest information on IH, such as symptoms and advances in treatment, is important for maintaining proper sleep and daytime health.

On this site, we invite you to explore more about IH. Our goal is to provide you with a better understanding of where IH comes from, who can help you manage it, and tips for living with IH. We have also provided a list of frequently asked questions and additional reading to help you better understand IH. High-definition animations, apps and other tools can be found in the Visual Learning tab. Thank you for visiting!
