Idiopathic hypersomnia (IH) is a chronic neurological disorder that results in daytime sleepiness, frequently accompanied by long nocturnal or daytime sleep, unrefreshing sleep, and difficulties with awakening, cognitive dysfunction, and autonomic symptoms.
